OUR HEART FOR WORSHIP
Worship is a massive part of what we do here at the Junction Church. There’s far more to it than just music. Worship is a lifestyle. It is only authentic when we’re living it. Yet, music and creativity are important aspects of how we express worship to God during our services. This is something which can be seen right through the bible. For example, many of the Psalms are actually lyrics written to songs. Our worship music at the Junction Church can be described as upbeat, contemporary, inspirational and fresh. Many of the songs we sing are written by the Junction Collective, a collaboration of musicians from the church. If you’d like to listen to some of our music, check out our latest worship album which is available for download on iTunes HERE.
MUSUCUANS & SINGERS
If you are a musician or singer interested in getting involved in our worship team, why don’t you fill in the form below and tell us a bit about who you are. Before you do that, it will help you to understand the heart and spirit of our worship team & to know some of our expectations. You’ll notice these are strong and uncompromising. After reading them, you might feel you can’t commit, and that’s fine. However, if you’re up for the challenge, get in touch:
We expect all members of our worship team to be committed to serving in the life of the Junction Church and attending our Sunday services each week, whether they’re on stage or not.
Members of the worship team will need to attend all mid-week practices as well as giving personal time to practicing songs. Without this commitment, it simply will not work.
To stand on stage as part of our worship team is a total privilege. Therefore, members of the worship team will need to reflect the heart & values of the church, including the value of honour. This is what makes our worship authentic – it’s who we are.
Character means a lot to us. Therefore, we expect all members of the worship team to be living Godly lives.
If you feel you’d like to be part of the worship team, fill in the form below.
