A word from Roy & Lyda Todd, lead pastors at the Junction Church Nottingham:
“Welcome to our church in Nottingham! We’ll be officially launching in September 2019. However, instead of just starting then, we really want to prayerfully get the foundations right now. So throughout 2018, we’re hosting Life Groups around the city. These are a great way for you to connect into the church – making friends and catching our heart for the city. You can find out more about our life groups HERE.
Nottingham has a very special place in our hearts. We lived here for many years. In fact, about 10 years ago, I (Roy) led an event at the Albert Hall which saw many people coming to faith in Jesus. Back then, I knew there would be a day when we’d return to the city to complete some unfinished business. Well, I guess this is that day. Truth is, we sense God is doing something great in Nottingham and we want to play our part in reaching out to a generation and inspiring them to follow Jesus. For us, Jesus is the one who gives purpose and meaning to life.
We’re SO excited about pioneering a brand new Nottingham church. It’s not our heart to build a big church. No, we’re far more interested in growing bigger people. If it should be our destiny to see a small handful of people journeying with us over these next lot of years, then so be it. We are committing ourselves to creating an environment where they can become giants of the faith who can face whatever life throws their way…and still walk tall. Their success will be our honour
Psalm 92:13 promises that those who are ‘planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God.’
