Life Groups at the Junction Church Leicester are smaller groups which meet in various locations around the city on mid-week nights. Life Groups are such a great way to develop great friendships, connect into the the life of the church, dig deeper into the bible and grow in your faith. They usually involve coffee, tea and snacks! A typical life group will begin with praise reports where we thank God for good things that are happening in people’s lives. We then move on to a time of conversation. This is based on the message from the previous Sunday – and includes a passage from the bible and how it applies in everyday life (check out our podcasts HERE). This is such a great way of learning, doing life with others and developing in your walk with God. The atmosphere for this is always positive and encouraging.
Each Life Groups always ends with a time of prayer for each other. There’s nothing better than to have people who pray for you in whatever season of life you’re in – whether challenges, decisions, good times or tough times. We’ve had so many great stories of people who have experienced real breakthrough’s in their lives because God has worked through the prayers of their life group. As well as meeting at a regular mid-week time, Junction Church Life Groups also get involved in a ‘Love Your Neighbour’ project. This is a way of serving some of the needs in Leicester in a practical way. The Junction Church Leicester is committed to helping those in our city who could do with help.
