JUNCTION CHURCH NEWS!
This Easter, we’re meeting on Good Friday (30th March) at 11am to worship and receive communion. This is being hosted at the Pure Arts Centre in Loughborough town centre (just opposite the Odeon Cinema). Then on Easter Sunday (1st April), we’re celebrating the resurrection with great worship, choirs and a special easter message. This is happening in Loughborough at 10:45am and then in Leicester at 5pm. Be sure to join us this Easter!!
NEW NOTTINGHAM CAMPUS
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be officially launching the Junction Church Nottingham in autumn 2019. Meanwhile, we’ll be starting life groups in Nottingham from autumn 2018. This is a fantastic opportunity for people in the city to connect into our community and catch the heart of what we’re about. If you’d like more information on our new Nottingham campus, click the campus link on the top menu on this page.
LEICESTER CAMPUS NEWS
We’re excited to see the growth of our Leicester campus. In September, we moved into a brand new venue called the Echo Factory (in the city centre). This is proved such a great move – with space to grow even more and create opportunity for people to connect into our Leicester church. We’ve also launched a number of new life groups in the city centre and these are really flourishing. Our plan is to transition the Junction Church Leicester to Sunday mornings from September 2019.
LOUGHBOROUGH CAMPUS NEWS
Our Loughborough campus continues to grow from strength to strength. The theatre is now regularly filled each Sunday morning with hundreds of people. Our kids ministry has significantly grown too. This is brilliantly organised by our kids team, allowing mums and dads to relax and enjoy the service while their children have LOADS of fun. We’re excited about the growing number of life groups at the Junction church Loughborough too!!
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION BANQUET
Over 100 volunteers and team members recently gathered for our annual volunteer appreciation banquet. We’re grateful for all the teams who work together to serve others.
SUMMER MADNESS – AUGUST 2018
Summer Madness is coming back this August! This will be from Monday 6th to Saturday 11th August. We’ll be getting right into the heart of one of Loughborough’s main residential areas to serve the community. This will involve a fantastic kids programme led by our team of 30+ volunteers. Last year, over 100 kids from a local estate registered and they had the best time ever!! We’re expecting this to at least double this year. Read more & see the video diaries from last years Summer Madness HERE.
In January 2018, we released our debut worship album. It’s called ‘Hope Will Arise’. All of the songs on this album have been written by the Junction Collective, a team of musicians from our church. These are songs which we regularly sing at our Sunday services. For more information, click HERE.
BAPTISM CELEBRATION – THURSDAY 8TH MARCH
During the past year, we’ve baptised dozens of people. This is a sign of how our church has been growing. We’ll be hosting our next baptism celebration on Thursday 8th March at 7:30pm – hosted at Loughborough Baptist Church. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the goodness of God in the lives of numbers of people who have recently decided to follow Jesus. If you’d like to know more about why we believe in baptism, read a helpful blog HERE.
V3 CONFERENCE – 10-11 NOVEMBER
V3 is one of the main highlights in our church calendar. This is the Junction Church conference – a weekend of worship, ministry and the opportunity to catch God’s heart for our area. We’ve got some great guest speakers coming to be with us and a fantastic kids programme so mums and dads can enjoy the conference too. You can find out loads more information and book in by clicking HERE.
