JUNCTION CHURCH

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you’re planning to visit the Junction Church for the first time, we’d love to give you a friendly welcome when you arrive. We absolutely LOVE seeing new faces at our Sunday services! But we also know that visiting somewhere for the first time can sometimes feel a little bit daunting and even overwhelming. So we want to help ensure your experience with us is enjoyable. You need to know that you are really important to us.

BEFORE THE SERVICE

Before each services begin, we serve tea and coffee 30 minutes beforehand. This is really relaxed and it’s a great way of meeting people who are part of the church. Outside the venue, you’ll see our carpark team (wearing florescent jackets) and they’ll only be too happy to show you where to go.

DURING THE SERVICE

A typical Junction Church service lasts just over 1 hour. This opens up with corporate worship led by our worship team. This usually lasts around 20 minutes. All our music helps us focus on Jesus and some of the songs we sing have been written by our worship collective. After this, the person hosting the service will then release all the kids to Ark, Sparks, Thrive & Blaze (our kids ministries). Please note, it is essential that parents register their children for this. After this, the service speaker will proceed to bring an inspirational message based on a passage from the bible. This lasts around 25 minutes and will always be engaging and relevant to every day life (we don’t do boring at the Junction Church!). When this is finished, there will be opportunity for people to respond to the message followed by a some final worship songs.

AFTER THE SERVICE

After our Sunday morning service in Loughborough, we have a special ‘guests lounge’ which is open after the service. Here, you can meet some of our team and grab a drink. If you’d like to find out more about how you can connect into the Junction Church, we’d love to help you. At our Sunday night service in Leicester, we have a cafe area which is available to us after the service at the Attenborough Arts Centre. Our hospitality team will be  there to help you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
